CBSE NET Application Form 2018
Recently, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research will soon publish the CBSE NET Application Form 2018 on the main site. UGC National Eligibility Test is the state level entrance exam. Eligibility Criteria for UGC NET:
Educational Qualification:
- The Candidates must cleared post-graduate degree / Integrated BS-MS/BS-4 year degree /BE / B.Tech / B.Pharma / MBBS etc.
- For General and OBC (NonCrème Layer): Minimum 55% marks required.
- For SC / ST / Physically Handicapped: Minim 50 % marks are required.
- The Candidates has completed 10+2+3 year’s degree and also registered their name in MSC they can also apply for the test. (They should get the required marks in qualifying degree in which they had registered before the admission).
- The candidates have completed B.Sc. or equivalent and appeared in MS-PhD program with the minimum percentage of 55%. It decreases to 50% for the OBC casts. Physically or visually handicapped can also apply.
- The students will obtain fellowship after successfully registered in Ph.D. programs. It is applicable for those who had completed a degree in Engineering, Science and in another discipline.
Age Limit:
Junior Research Fellowship: Candidates should not exceed 28 Years, and 5 Years relaxation is provided to the candidates belongs to OBC/SC/ST/PWD.
Assistant Professor: There is No Upper Age Limit for this NET exam for Assistant Professor.
Examination Fee details:
- For General: Rupees 1000/- is required to apply.
- For OBC and Noncrème layer: Rupees 500
- For SC/ST/PH and usually handicapped: Rupees 250 needed.
Mode of payment: The entire applicants need to pay application fee through the Indian Bank across the country. Candidates from Srinagar and Imphal should deposit their fees through RTGS or NEFT.

- On the home page choose the tab of the latest news and read complete details properly.
- And now download the application format and fill it carefully.
